Dr. Hugh Taylor received his undergraduate training at Yale University and received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale. His postdoctoral training included a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as a fellowship in Molecular Biology, both at Yale.
Dr. Taylor is a board certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology. His clinical research centers on endometriosis, Asherman syndrome, fibroids and infertility. His basic science research focuses on uterine development, endocrine disruption, and stem cells. He is a recipient of fifteen National Institutes of Health research grants and directs The Yale Center for Reproductive Biology.
Dr. Taylor has published more than 500 articles and in leading medical journals. His work is published in the top reproductive biology and reproductive medicine journals but also transcends the specialty. He has published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, the Journal of the American Medical association (JAMA), Nature Communications, Cell Reports, JAMA Internal Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine and the Journal of Clinical Investigation. In total he has been cited over 40,000 times and his Google Scholar H index over 100. More than a dozen of his papers have been cited over 500 times.

Professor Wei-Jun Jean Yeung is Director of Social Sciences at the Institute for Human Development and Potential at A*STAR and a Professor of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She was a Provost-Chair Professor in the NUS Department of Sociology from 2008-2023. Before Singapore, her academic career includes more than 20 years at the University of Michigan and New York University. She is the inaugural President of the Population Association of Singapore and the founding Director of the Center for Family and Population Research at NUS. Professor Yeung is a leading scholar in social demography, family studies and stratification. She has published extensively on family and demographic transition in Asia and her work is cited widely in academic publications and high-impact global media. Professor Yeung has received many prestigious awards including those from NSF, NICHD, NIA, Singapore MOE, and Social Science Research Council. Celia is a Professor in the School of Social Work, Melbourne School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne, and an Honorary Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Hong Kong. She serves as Coordinator for Hong Kong and China of the International Infertility Counseling Organization and as Co-Chair of the Psychology and Counselling Special Interest Group of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE). A leading figure in fertility and infertility counselling across the Asia-Pacific region, Celia works closely with clinicians and other reproductive medicine professionals to bring cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary expertise into clinical practice.
Celia is committed to advancing research and practice in the psychosocial dimensions of reproductive medicine. Her work spans fertility education and public awareness of sexual and reproductive health, and psychological assessment and counselling for individuals and couples navigating infertility, medically assisted reproduction, and donor or third-party conception. She has developed integrated models of perinatal bereavement care to support families experiencing pregnancy loss, including miscarriage and stillbirth, and has secured funding for and led numerous community-based programmes in fertility promotion and perinatal bereavement care.
Celia has an established international publication record in reproductive psychology and psychosocial reproductive health, spanning fertility and infertility counselling, fertility awareness, psychosocial adjustment to assisted reproductive treatment, shared decision-making in fertility care, and reproductive and perinatal loss. Through interdisciplinary collaborations across social work, psychology, and obstetrics and gynaecology, her research has helped advance the evidence base for person-centred, culturally responsive reproductive healthcare.
Celia’s core expertise centres on fertility and infertility counselling and the regulation of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs), with particular specialisation in the Integrative Body-Mind-Spirit Intervention Model applied to reproductive and fertility care. She established and delivered Hong Kong’s first Certificate course in infertility counselling in 2010 and continues to provide professional training in infertility counselling across Hong Kong and China.

Her research focuses on reproductive endocrinology, artificial intelligence and precision reproductive medicine, ovarian aging, and the clinical application of androgen and sex-steroid profiling. She has led or contributed to the development and clinical translation of several AI-based tools, including OvaRePred for ovarian reserve and ovarian aging assessment, PCOSt for PCOS screening, and POvaStim for individualized ovarian stimulation and clinical decision support.
Dr Xu has authored or co-authored more than 50 international peer-reviewed publications, including more than 30 as first or co-first author. Her work spans ovarian reserve and reproductive aging, AI-assisted fertility care, AMH and inhibin B, conventional and 11-oxygenated androgens, steroid mass spectrometry, and the emerging links between endocrine regulation and immune aging. She has also filed or obtained more than 20 Chinese invention patents and over 20 PCT international patents, with several technologies translated into clinical practice and commercial development.
Her work has received multiple awards, including the First Prize for Maternal and Child Health Scientific and Technological Achievements in 2021, the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019, and the Peking University Award for Outstanding Industry–Academia–Research Collaboration in 2021. OvaRePred was recognized among The Innovation’s Top 10 Innovations of 2023 and has subsequently entered international licensing and development.

Dr. Jacqueline Chung Pui Wah currently serves as Chairperson and Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She serves as Director of the CUHK Assisted Reproductive Unit and Deputy Director of the CUHK Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis Laboratory at Prince of Wales Hospital, as well as a consultant at CUHK Medical Centre.
An accomplished researcher, she has published over 120 peer-reviewed articles. Her contributions have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine’s Distinguished Young Fellow Award (2018), the Inga Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Best Teacher Award (2017/18) in her department. She was also honored with the Faculty of Medicine’s Teachers of the Year Award (2019).
Dr. Chung holds prominent leadership roles in reproductive medicine and fertility preservation. She is the Chairperson of the Reproductive Medicine Subspecialty Board at the Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and President of the Hong Kong Society for Reproductive Medicine. From 2020 to 2025, she served as Local Representative for the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) and currently co-chairs its Special Interest Group (SIG) on Fertility Preservation. Her expertise and dedication continue to shape advancements in obstetrics, gynaecology, and reproductive medicine.
Advances in cancer therapy have significantly improved survival rates for young patients, but treatment often harms future reproductive potential. She developed a dedicated clinic for fertility preservation at the Prince of Wales Hospital and and introduced ovarian tissue cryopreservation locally. She also led the clinical implementation of ultrasound-guided manual vacuum aspiration in Hong Kong.

For his paper on ‘Letrozole for ovulation induction in PCOS patients resistant to Clomiphene citrate’, Dr. Siddiqui received the ‘Shan S Ratnam Young Gynaecologist award’ from Asia Oceania Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (AOFOG) at Newzealand in 2009.
He is one of the Executive Board members of Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE). Dr. Siddiqui is also the current Scientific Secretary of Fertility & Sterility Society of Bangladesh(FSSB).
He has got more than 30 publications including more than 10 international papers. Masahiko Ito, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan. He received his PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Tokyo in 2004.
He studied mammalian fertilization and oocyte activation under Professor Shunichi Miyazaki at Tokyo Women’s Medical University. His research on sperm-specific phospholipase C zeta (PLCζ) addressed its structure–function relationships, nuclear translocation, and the regulation and termination of calcium oscillations during early embryonic development.
He has collaborated with Dr. Atsushi Tanaka, Director of Saint Mother Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, on human round spermatid injection (ROSI) and oocyte activation, including clinical applications of ROSI and studies using human PLCZ1 RNA.
His current research interests include sperm proteomics, biomarkers of male infertility, and paternal epigenetic regulation of early embryonic development, particularly in human ROSI embryos.

Mr. Hirayama graduated from Hiroshima University with a degree in psychology in 1993. In 1998, he received specialized training in reproductive psychology at the Center for Reproductive Psychology in San Diego, under the mentorship of Drs. Martha Diamond, David Diamond, and Janet Jaffe.
He holds multiple professional certifications, including:

He has authored numerous publications on reproductive psychology and counseling. His book, “If You’re Tired of Trying to Conceive: A Guide to Coping with Fertility Stress” (2017), offers psychological support for individuals undergoing fertility treatment.

Tess serves as the counsellor-in-charge at The Centre of Assisted Reproduction and Embryology, The University of Hong Kong – Queen Mary Hospital (HKU-QMH CARE). Holding a Master of Social Work from HKU and a Master of Arts in Psychology from CUHK, she helped establish Hong Kong’s first in-house infertility counselling service in 2022. In this role, she provides evidence-based individual, couple, and group therapy, alongside lifestyle interventions for patients. Tess is grateful to accompany individuals and couples on their reproductive journeys, witnessing meaningful growth in their emotional well-being and relationships. Dr. Gao has extensive experience in genetic diagnosis and screening. She has completed genetic diagnoses for more than 6,000 families and carrier screening for over 10,000 individuals. She has established an AI-based platform for genetic variant analysis and a genetic variant database. In addition, she has led the application of AI in controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) protocols in ART.
Her research program centers on the clinical translation of advanced molecular genetics into assisted reproductive technology, with particular expertise in preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), monogenic disorders (PGT-M), and structural rearrangements (PGT-SR). As a Chief Scientist of China’s National Key Research and Development Program, she spearheads national efforts to integrate novel genomic technologies—including preimplantation methylation screening—into routine PGT workflows.
Dr. Gao has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and holds 11 granted patents. She has led the formulation of national pharmaceutical industry standards and professional consensus guidelines for genetic counseling in PGT, helping to establish regulatory and clinical benchmarks for practice across China. Her work bridges molecular diagnostics and clinical embryology, focusing on translating novel genetic technologies into accessible clinical strategies for the prevention of hereditary disease
